Crystal Focus - Aura Quartz Crystal jewellery

Wearing crystals in the form of jewellery, is the perfect way to benefit from the healing and energizing properties of your crystals. Always let your intuition guide you when selecting your crystals, our Higher Selves will point us toward the energies we are in need of, if we listen. And don't forget to cleanse your beautiful piece frequently, as wearing constantly will soon negate the positive powers it brings to you as it absorbs the unwanted energies surrounding you.

The Royal Aura Quartz is a New Age crystal that works by clearing a pathway for the vital life force to flow. It also supports and nurtures the subtle life force within all the bodies - physical, emotional, mental, spiritual - and the surrounding auric field.

The Titanium Aura Quartz is the most powerful and vibrationally intense of all the coated and treated quartz. Energetically the titanium projects strength, mental acuity and physical power. These properties are amplified by the quartz base crystal.

Titanium Quartz is a resonant activator of the Rainbow Body and is energizing to the entire chakra system as well as the physical body. Wearing or carrying one of these crystals can make one feel grounded, centered and energized all at once.

Aqua Aura Quartz has a very high and intense vibration. It stimulates one's connections with higher vibrational realms, facilitating channeling and all types of interdimensional communication.

The Tangerine Aura Quartz stimulates the joyful, creative energy of the inner child. It encourages playfulness and the ability to explore one's world and experiences with fearless curiosity. Tangerine quartz helps one use this curiosity to learn and grow. It powerfully activates the second and third chakras.

Hobart and home again!!

Finally life is reaching some sort of normality!! It has been a big couple of weeks with Nanny and I traveling to Hobart to meet husband/son as the Aurora Australis sailed in from Antarctica. We all had five beautiful days in gorgeous Hobart, right on the docks. The weather was perfect, the place was perfect and things went pretty smoothly after the initial 'awkward weirdness' of meeting up again after sixteen months LOL.

waiting for the ship to come in, stunning day on the docks in Hobart
fish and chips on the dock at Flippers, cooked to perfection

The harbour is amazing with all these great little floating food places, so of course the experience wouldn't be complete without the traditional fish and chips by the dock, complete with seagulls waiting anxiously for a chip or two. It truly was stunning weather as you can see from the photos.

We were lucky enough to be there for St Patrick's Day (I do have a generous dose of Irish in my blood) and of course a few guinness pints went down very well in Salamanca at Irish Murphy's. Even saw a couple of leprechauns!!

Salamanca markets
The Foley Artists outside Irish Murphy's pub, fantastic!!!
yes we even had shamrocks in our drinks

Of course the journey back to reality has been a little difficult to traverse, but we are all slowly working through everything and getting on with it!!! We had to deliver Nanny to the hospital yesterday as she was in need of a pacemaker to regulate her ticker, which decided it didn't want to work properly any more. There was no way she was going to miss that ship coming in though, so she put the doc off and said you can do it later when I get back. Consequently she had to be pushed around Hobart in a wheelchair, but all went well and I only crashed her into a couple of doors!! Pacemaker was put in yesterday and she has come through a treat, we pick her up tomorrow and bring her home. YAY NANNY!!!

Quote of the day - Love

"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."
Judy Garland

Golden, glowing sunrise for this first morning back home. Lots to talk about, lots to do!! This quote is for my darling husband. Love, love, love you, and I am so glad you are home.

Apologies in advance!!

Okay, as some of you would know, husband is making his way back from Antarctica after being away for sixteen months, so I am in a bit of a tizz (slight understatement there)!! I apologize to everyone if this months posts are erratic or a bit light on. I think my brain is slightly over-loaded and is quite prone to some pretty blank moments lately. I might nearly be in melt down mode, scary.

Nanny (husband's gorgeous mum) and I booked our posh accomodation in Hobart yesterday. It was literally the only thing left around the docks which could sleep the three of us. Hobart is such a beautiful place and I am really looking forward to spending some time there again. I could live there no probs!! And we can't wait to see that big orange ship slide across the water and into viewing range. Todays job, some flights to actually get us to our posh accomodation!!!

The True Meaning of Friendship

Real friends stick together when times are tough!!

They're always there with a shoulder to lean on.

Friendship is when people know all about you, but like you anyway......

Regardless of size....

How much money you have....

or age!!

Real friends won't let you do stupid things....

They'll give you a ride....

Go for a ride....

Keep an eye out for you....

Have your back...

And stop you from doing something stupid.

Friendship isn't about whom you've known the longest....
It's about who came and never left your side!!

A friend will keep you warm....

Give you a boost....

Be there when you're feeling down....

Protect you....

And be your eyes when you can't see.

Friends pick us up when we fall down, and if they can't pick us up, they lie down and listen for a while.

They won't give up....

True friends are forever!!!

The ship is finally in at Mawson Station

Yes, after just over a year of waiting for the return of my intrepid explorer husband, the ship has finally made it into the bay at Mawson. What a sight to behold!! Now I can allow myself to start generating a little excitement. They have around a weeks worth of unloading and then re-loading with all the gear that has to return to Hobart. A mammoth task I'm sure, as there are cranes and shipping containers, hagglunds and a few years worth of odd stuff that has accumulated because the ship hasn't been able to get into the iced over bay these last couple of years. They will have their work cut out for them!!

There will be mixed feelings on both fronts, Mawson and home. From all the communication with husband, I have gathered that the entire wintering crew are a great bunch of people. The friendships they have formed from their year of tight living will probably bond them together for the rest of their lives, so it will be incredibly difficult for them all to part company. On the home front families are waiting though, and it will be like Christmas, only better, when we finally get to see their faces again. It has been a big year, with much water flowing under the proverbial bridge!! And I did manage to leave some weeding for husband, knowing how much he would have missed getting his hands into that nice brown earth and green grass!!

Safe journey guys, and Lisa. See you all in Hobart in a few weeks. YEEHAH!!

Thanks Mark, I stole your pics - again!!!
