Leopard Accessories
Well it's about time!!! Finally The Leopards Lair (which is really about crystals, crystal healing and jewellery) has decided to buy in a fab range of leopard accessories. Yes slap my wrist, with a name like The Leopards Lair you would think I could have incorporated a few leopard items before now LOL. I am the leopard queen afterall and have more leopard handbags, scarves, shoes and wall art than you could poke a stick at.
Since time immemorial we have been drawn to the sultry sensuality of our feline friends and have adorned ourselves with faux fur accessories. Numerous feline Goddesses have trodden the paths before us, lighting our way and showing us the inner nature of our hidden selves. None more widely recognized that Bast, Egyptian goddess of sensual pleasure, protector of the household, bringer of health, guardian saint of firefighters- she was the original mistress of multi-tasking!

I have been sourcing beautiful accessories from around the globe.
Have some gorgeous scarves, bags, bangles and iphone cases so far. But
wait, today I went a little over the top and soon to be in store are,
more leather cuff bangles (this is a stunner) watches, sunnies, more bags, laptop
accessories, camera cases and the most amazing 'big leopard staring at
you' quilt cover set. Can't wait for them all to arrive (and I'm sure there might be a few that might not even make it to the store) probably a week to ten days
or so. And I should probably put a hold on my spending spree for now!!!

Son's Amazing Wedding
We have just spent a whirlwind two weeks in Mackay, Queensland for our son's wedding, and what a totally magickal affair it was!! He couldn't be happier, and we couldn't be happier. What a gorgeous, gorgeous young woman Ryan has married. Welcome to our family Kate, even though you were already a big part of it, now it is official, congratulations both of you.
It was a pretty full on two weeks, and I was so appreciative of the fact that Kate had left a few little things for me to do, which really made me feel a part of it all. Mind you I am pretty sure she is THE most organized woman on the planet!! Nothing was left to chance and her attention to detail unsurpassed.
We all stayed for three nights in the resort where they were married and everyone had such a brilliant time, the two families coming together as if they had known each other forever. We are all incredibly blessed to be able to share the lives of such an amazing couple. Well done Ryan and Kate, we are so so proud of you and so happy you have both found your true soul mates.

the boys flew in in a helicopter and landed on the beach a short distance from us, very exciting with the Mission Impossible theme blaring in the background
overlooking the beach, the ceremony was beautiful, Kate's dad Mick sang and I don't think there was a dry eye in the house
the gorgeous wedding party
Kate's wonderful family
Ryan's wonderful family (oh oops, I'm in there, can I say that about myself??)
This is me with Kaylie the Flower Girl, she was so adorable and wise beyond her years I'm thinking. I definitely made a new friend there, she is so gorgeous.
This is the resort we all stayed in for the wedding, Dolphin Heads. The rooms faced onto the beach where the ceremony was held which meant we could just walk straight out of our door and be right there. As well as surrounding the pool area and all through the gardens. It was a wonderful stay.
Congratulations Ryan & Kate
